Dr. Sharon Otis, after 13 years in secular mental health, prayed to receive Christ and put Family Care Counseling Center under the lordship of Jesus Christ. Applying biblical principles and leading clients to know Christ have been life changing for her husband, Dennis Jagdmann, who is the center's office administrator. Dr. Otis is a licensed mental health counselor, a licensed Clinical Pastoral counselor, Advanced Certification, and a Clinical Pastoral and Mental Health Supervisor. She is a member of the National Christian Counselors Association, the American Association of Christian Counselors, and the Manatee Carenet. Dr. Otis's area of expertise includes behavioral management, depression, ADHD, co-dependency, families, individuals, children, gifted, trauma, stress reduction and temperament analysis. Dr. Otis is board certified in managed care and an expert in traumatic stress.
